What ThreatDown gives your business
Why we chose Malwarebytes for business
ThreatDown Business Anti-Malware by Malwarebytes is the leading next-generation protection for your company.
IT Pro Expert independently wrote unique software to test the protection of all the leading brand anti-virus solutions, and concluded that ThreatDown offered the highest protection levels for businesses while using the least system resources. After that testing, we signed up as partners to offer our customers what we believe to be the best solution on the market.

What is ThreatDown?
ThreatDown is the latest leading anti-everything cyber protection for your business. It is true enterprise-level protection, but at the same time it is still suitable for absolutely everyone who would like the best protection for their computers. It sits alongside the rest of our cyber security services.
ThreatDown versus Malwarebytes
ThreatDown is the new name for Malwarebytes Business edition. It is the all-new product built on the long-established version that has been operating for 15+ years to become a global leader in threat protection. There is now a significant difference in product features between ThreatDown and the Malwarebytes personal edition.
The feature breakdown below shows why those differences matter. Ransomware rollback, for example, is the ability to recover your files from a ransomware attack that managed to bypass normal anti-virus protection. Typically this happens because you are specifically targeted with custom ransomware, or because the attack is very new and not yet in the protection database. Rollback can literally save your business from critical financial ruin — that alone is enough of a feature difference to make ThreatDown worthwhile.
Do you offer a discount for ThreatDown?
Yes — our prices are suitably cheaper than going through Malwarebytes direct. If you would like a ThreatDown discount code, please contact us for bulk purchases.
Is it worth paying more for ThreatDown Business over Malwarebytes Personal?
For anyone serious about protecting their business information, or even their personal digital life, ThreatDown is magnitudes better at all-round protection than Malwarebytes Personal. ThreatDown costs a little more than twice that of a single Malwarebytes personal or team licence, but you get what you pay for.
Many businesses will try to use the cheapest solution, but this is one area where you should really upgrade to the best protection. It is very tempting to hope it will never happen to you, but if you look at the costs and losses a company endures when hit with a viral or ransom attack, each one will tell you they wish they had done more before the incident.
We found that companies using the personal edition often had staff accidentally turn off protection without realising, forget to renew the licence, leave many devices unprotected because a user removed the product by accident, fail to notify IT of a threat that really needed investigation, and critically miss out on the defining differences now separating personal and business editions. It doesn't matter whether you are a small work-from-home business or a large corporate entity — you are a lot safer with ThreatDown.
The biggest misconception is thinking you have little to lose — until documents, photos, contacts, email data, email access, domain names and money are all encrypted or stolen because one person clicked a file share from a known associate.
What features do I get with ThreatDown that I don't get with Malwarebytes?

Why can't I just use Microsoft Windows Defender?
In our own testing, detection rates for Microsoft Windows Defender were so low that any individual or company relying on it alone should assume they have very little protection. McAfee is another solution we advise against — it is often bundled with new computers, we have found it bloated and intrusive, and in our experience ineffective. It is usually the first product we uninstall on any new system. You will also see from the map below that, besides Microsoft Defender and McAfee, Norton, Sophos and Avast did not show reliable detection rates. In our view, several once-great anti-virus solutions have declined under new ownership and marketing-led direction.
How is ThreatDown better than ESET or any other anti-virus?
There are many other leading brands of anti-virus offering similar solutions to ThreatDown. However, if you look at the comparison of what other anti-virus systems miss when a user installs ThreatDown, you will see very quickly why it is our go-to product. Look at the map below, or open the live remediation map for more detail. The numbers speak for themselves, and ESET — once a leader — now sits behind on those figures.

Voted #1 in ease-of-use and user satisfaction, and the only vendor to receive 100% protection scores in 12 consecutive quarters. On G2, voted a leader in 42 categories including "Best Endpoint Protection" and "Best ROI with MDR".
